2007 Progress Report

I am pleased to present to you the first Vision 2010 progress report. This report provides information on the significant accomplishments since the strategic plan was adopted by the University Senate in January 2005.

To give you an overview of the progress made to date, each initiative has been identified using a colour code in the first column: the initiatives marked in green (42%) are those completed or almost completed, those in yellow (31%) are currently being developed and will start in the near future, and those in orange (27%) are ones for which little work has been carried out to date or that must be reconsidered. The full text of Vision 2010 can be found in the second column.

The work climate survey confirmed that most of you are familiar and agree with our institution’s mission, vision and values. Moreover, the survey revealed your intense interest in the concrete initiatives undertaken to achieve the main strategic directions. This report presents valuable information on these matters and many specific answers to your queries. I am very pleased to present it to you. Simultaneously, I would like to thank you since for the most part these are your initiatives! All members of the University community have launched specific actions throughout the campus. With your continued generous support, we will successfully carry out this ambitious strategic plan in the next few years.

Sincerely,
